U.S. Shipbuilding Deliveries in 2008

This table reports deliveries from U.S. yards of self-propelled governmental and commercial ships, drilling rigs, offshore service vessels, tugs, towboats and other workboats, plus recreational craft, fishing vessels and passenger vessels that are at least 50 feet in length, as reported by the U.S. Coast Guard in its PSIX database.  The date shown for each vessel is that on which each vessel's Certificate of Documentation was issued: this should be, but may not be, the same as the date on which the yard made delivery of the vessel to its owner.
