Oilers (YO), Oil Barges (YO and YON) and Oil Storage Barges (YOS)

Few of the early YOs were self-propelled: the use of YON for barges did not get started until WWII and the earlier vessels retained their YO designation.  As a result, it is now difficult to tell which vessels were tankers and which were barges.  If anyone can add to this table, please send your info to timcolton@aol.com
