Builders of Large Custom Yachts

This web site does not attempt to track the construction of recreational boats, because there are many millions of them, almost all manufactured in factories rather than built in boatyards.  There is still, however, a significant custom yachtbuilding business in the United States.  In addition, we are now #2 in the world in the construction of "megayachts" - boats with a registered length of at least 75 feet.  (Note that "registered length" means the length shown in the U.S. registry, not the length overall.)  The output of these yards is documented here as completely as possible.
