Chris-Craft, Algonac MI


Christopher Columbus Smith, the founder of Chris-Craft, built his first boat in 1874, when he was only 13.  In addition to the 233 boats listed below, all of which were built for the Army, Chris-Craft turned out thousands of LCPLs and other small boats for the Navy.
