Quincy Adams Yacht Yard, Quincy MA
(formerly F. D. Lawley, Inc.)
George Lawley's grandson Fred started this yard in Quincy, although it's not clear exactly when it opened, or when it closed. The name was changed in 1929. The yard was on Palmer Street, in the Germantown section of Quincy: the site is now home to a block of condos. If anyone has any further information about this yard and the ships it built, please send it to me at tim@coltoncompany.com
