Vinyard Shipbuilding, Milford DE

Vinyard Shipbuilding was started in 1896 and was noted for its wooden cruisers. It closed after WWII, was reopened in the 1960s as Delaware Marine & Manufacturing, but closed again in the 1980s. The yard was at the foot of Columbia Street, on the south bank of the Mispillion River, on the east side of town. See it from the air on Google here.
