Frank L. Sample, Boothbay Harbor ME

Sample's shipyard was originally established in 1840, by Cyrus McKown. It later became the Townsend Marine Railway and, in 1917, the Atlantic Coast Company. Sample acquired it in 1939. It was sold in 2004 and is now the Boothbay Harbor Shipyard.
