Charleston Shipbuilding, Charleston SC
Most recent update: January 25, 2011.
Charleston Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company started out as the Pregnall Shipyard (1869-1915), a noted builder of schooners, and continued after WWII as a repair yard. It was located on Concord Street, between Laurens and Calhoun, where the Charleston Maritime Center is now. If anyone has any information about any other ships or boats that were built there, please send it to me at timcolton@aol.com
