Calumet Shipyard was started in 1927 by James Rogan, a Scottish-born naval architect who had previously worked at Marine Iron Works and Dubuque Boat & Boiler Works. It was located at 9367 South Harbor Drive, just north of the 95th Street Bridge. On Google, the site now appears to be vacant. The yard continued in business at least until 1954.
