Burton Shipyard, Port Arthur TX

Burton Construction & Shipbuilding appears to have been started after WWII, but is best known as a major builder of supply boats in the 1960s and 1970s.  Its yard was on Lake Sabine, at the north end of Port Arthur.  It stopped building ships when the market collapsed in 1982 but continues as a repair yard in the former H & H Welders and Fabricators, in nearby Bridge City.  See it from the air on Google here.
