Burton Shipyard, Port Arthur TX

Burton Shipyard was a major builder of supply boats in the 1960s and 1970s at a facility on Lake Sabine, at the north end of Port Arthur.  It stopped building ships in 1983 but continues as a repair yard in nearby Bridge City.  Visit the shipyard at www.burtonshipyard.com and see it from the air on Google here.
