Bellingham Marine, Bellingham WA

(formerly Bellingham Marine Railway and Bellingham Iron Works)

Bellingham Shipyards was founded by Arch Talbot before WWII and in 1941 combined both Bellingham Marine Railway and Bellingham Iron Works.  The yard continued after the war but closed in 1963.  It was located at Squalicum Creek, on Bellingham Bay: see it from the air on Google here.  The good people of Bellingham have a history project going - visit their web site here - and there's a great movie about the yard - find it here.  If anyone can add to the table below, please send your info to timcolton@aol.com.
