Northwestern Shipbuilding Company was located at 201 Harris Avenue, in the Port of Bellingham.  It was formed in 1942 by some Seattle investors led by Jack Gilbert, and closed in 1945.   It is now a repair yard, the Fairhaven facility of Puglia Engineering.  If anyone can provide any additional information about this yard or about the boats that it built, please e-mail it to me at timcolton@aol.com.
