Brunswick Marine, Brunswick GA

Most recent update: October 1, 2011.

At the outset of WWII, Brunswick Marine Construction was an existing small yard that was awarded a contract by the Maritime Commission for the construction of an emergency yard.  After exhibiting management weaknesses, however, the emergency yard was turned over to J. A. Jones Construction and Brunswick Marine just built small vessels.
