Lake Washington Shipyards was a small repair yard, activated for shipbuilding immediately before the war. At its peak, Lake Washington Shipyards employed 6,000 people. The shipyard was closed after the war and its site is now the commercial/residential development at Carillon Point: see it from the air on Google here.
