Bethlehem Hingham was an emergency yard, built in 1941 for the construction of destroyer escorts, with $35mm from the Navy. It had 16 ways, was managed by Bethlehem Quincy and, at its peak, employed over 23,000 people. After the war, the yard was closed and liquidated.
