Pusey & Jones, of Wilmington DE, started a second shipyard for the WWI effort, in Gloucester City NJ: it was initially called Pennsylvania Shipbuilding Company, but this was changed after only two ships to Pusey & Jones and again, after hull #19, to New Jersey Shipbuilding Company. The yard was closed after the war. Almost nothing else is known about this yard: if anyone can provide any information about either the yard or the ships it built, please e-mail it to me at tim@coltoncompany.com
