William R. Trigg Co., Richmond VA

William R. Trigg founded the Richmond Locomotive Works and is said to have done "more to build up the manufacturing interests of Richmond than perhaps any other man".  He obviously had all the right connections, judging by the short but impressive construction record, but his shipyard failed in 1903 and its last vessel was never finished.  If anyone can provide any additional information about the location or characteristics of this short-lived shipyard, or about the ships it built, please e-mail me at tim@coltoncompany.com
